USITC Announces New Schedule for MTB Review and Possible Expansion

Below please find the notice recently sent out by USITC regarding the schedule for MTB review:

As an interested party in the Miscellaneous Tariff Bill process, we wanted to notify you of certain changes to the schedule with the respect to Inv. №332–565 (American Manufacturing Competitiveness Act: Effects of Temporary Duty Suspensions and Reductions on the U.S. Economy). The deadline for filing requests to appear at the public hearing is now March 18, 2019. The public hearing will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019. The deadline for filing written submissions has been extended to April 23, 2019. The Commission will transmit its report to the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Senate Committee on Finance (Committees) by October 18, 2019.
