SFIA Turkey Trots Around the World to Raise Money for Youth Sports

--

This year, the SFIA team participated in the 2019 Good Sports Virtual Turkey Trot (#GSVTT2019) all around the world, from Spain to Tampa to Philly to DC, we are always happy to support our partners, Good Sports, and help raise money and sports equipment for youth programs nationwide.

The SFIA/Good Sports partnership started in 2012 with the paramount goal of increasing youth participation, and allowing kids around the country to play, no matter if they lacked the money or the resources needed. Good Sports’ mission is to deliver equipment, uniforms, apparel and footwear to underserved communities that is needed to participate. With the belief that every child should be given the opportunity to play, SFIA joined the mission, and encouraged members to donate product to Good Sports, making it possible for many kids to partake in team sports and activity programs. In total, SFIA members have provided over $45MM worth of equipment, which has directly led to positively impacting 7 million children, and we couldn’t be more proud. If you would like to learn more about Good Sports, please visit their website here, and see how you can get involved. We can’t wait to increase these numbers in the new year!
