SFIA presses for re-opening of China Section 301 tariff exclusion process
When President Biden took office he made it clear he would focus on the pandemic while he reviewed the China Tariff policy for six months. As we emerge from COVID and nears his tariff review deadline, the business community is pressing for a re-opening of the exclusion process.
On May 26th, SFIA joined 170 business organizations on a letter to Congress pressing for a change in U.S. policy and a re-opening of the re-opening of the China Section 301 Exclusion process as the Administration determines future U.S.-China trade policy.
