President Trump Plans to Sign Trade Deal with China on January 15
What you need to know about China tariffs to protect your business and take advantage of SFIA services

All Section 301 tariffs that were implemented are still in effect, unless granted exclusion via List 1, 2 ,3 or 4A process.
- List 4A Tariffs remain at 15% until reduction to 7.5% made official once Phase One deal is signed
- List 4A Tariff Exclusion Petition USTR deadline is January 31, 2020. If you are taking part in SFIA’s petition process, ALL exclusion petitions are due to SFIA by January 21, 2020.
- List 4B Tariffs were never implemented and are “suspended indefinitely,” but President Trump suggested he will go back to them if Phase Two negotiations are unproductive.
